RightHand Robotics Named 2019 Top 50 Robotics Company by Robotics Business Review

BOSTON - May 14, 2019 - RightHand Robotics, a leader in providing autonomous robotic piece-picking solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been named to Robotics Business Review’s 2019 RBR50 list of leading automation companies. The RBR50 is the annual list of the 50 most innovative and transformative robotics companies that have achieved commercial success in the past year. Robotics Business Review has teamed up with IDC to choose this year’s winners.

RightHand’s second generation product platform, RightPick2TM, handles the core task of picking and placing individual items for a wide range of warehouse workflows and processes. It works collaboratively with logistics facility employees and existing manual or automated systems, providing businesses with a vital productivity boost as part of a lean and highly efficient material handling process. RightPick2 is utilized in businesses such as e-commerce and omni-channel retailers, grocers, wholesale distributors in pharma and consumer packaged goods, as well as third party logistics providers (3PLs).

“We’re thrilled to be named to the RBR50 2019 list alongside such accomplished and innovative leaders in the field,” said Leif Jentoft, co-founder of RightHand Robotics. “In less than a year, our team has announced new customers, released a new product, completed a Series B funding round, and surpassed 10 million autonomous picks (MPicks). We’re excited for the future and to continue helping our customers leverage the RightPick platform in an increasingly competitive marketplace.”

For 2019, companies were selected from commercial and industrial robotics categories, including component makers, collaborative robotics, autonomous mobile robots, artificial intelligence, healthcare and service robotics, and more.
